Brooke's Soccer

Brooke's a U10er soccer leager. She's had a good season with a team of all girls. They all have a lot of fun and should be in the running for the Best Sportmanship award.

First day of school

Jessie and Brooke off to meet their new teachers. Jessie is a second grade Dilley dophin and her teacher's name is Mrs. Hoffman. Tidbits about Mrs. Hoffman... she has an aquarium with lots of fish and she always has a nice way to tell the kids to be quiet. Brooke is now a Tom McCall Mustang and her teacher's name is Ms. Wright. Tidbits about Ms. Wright... she has three dogs (but not in the class), and she is from the south (so it's "yes, ma'am, no ma'am" in her class). Logan started preschool at Wonderworld. His teachers are Teacher Linda and Teacher Chris. His favorite things about class are snacks and crafts.

Way back when -- Brooke's 10th Birthday

Brooke's birthday party was a hit - thanks to Shelly's great games, a funny dad and nice friends! We played lots of games: find the gum in the flour, get lifesaver in mouth with toothpick, human letters, "I'm a chubby bunny" marshmallow game, and Sardines inside with lights out. And the girls spontaneously did the Virginia Reel during the middle of it all :)
Of course, it all went too fast!

Trip to Cape Lookout

A must have Spencer tradition is camping at the beach each summer. Well, we made it to the beach at the end of August but I'm not sure this trip qualified as camping -- because the mom forgot the tent! Luckily our kids are flexible -so we pulled out the middle seats and made due.
